These technologies are used in reading medical images, such as X-rays, magnetic resonance imaging MRI, and computed tomography CT scans, where intelligent systems can detect certain diseases and tumors with high accuracy that may sometimes exceed human ability. Artificial intelligence also helps in diagnosing chronic and serious diseases, such as heart disease, cancer, and diabetes, by analyzing medical test results and the patient’s medical history. It also contributes to reducing medical errors and saving time and effort for doctors, allowing them to focus more on patient care. One of the fields related to this is Medical Physics, which benefits from artificial intelligence techniques in developing medical imaging methods and analyzing radiation data with greater accuracy, helping to improve diagnosis and treatment. Despite the great benefits of artificial intelligence, there are some challenges associated with its use, such as the need to protect the privacy of patients’ data and ensure the accuracy of the systems used. Therefore, artificial intelligence should be a supportive tool for doctors and not a complete replacement for them, as human experience remains essential in making medical decisions. In conclusion, artificial intelligence has become one of the most important modern technologies that has created a qualitative shift in medical diagnosis. It is expected to continue developing in the future to provide more accurate and faster healthcare services, contributing to improving human life and significantly advancing the medical sector.
