Within the academic program of the Department of Anesthesia Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, a training workshop was conducted on 9/4/2026 entitled “Platelet Function Assessment”, delivered by Assistant Lecturer Ammar Badri Younis and Mr. Hussein Shaddad Hamad. The activity focused more on the practical aspect than the theoretical one, introducing first-year students to the assessment of platelet function and its importance in hemostasis, while clarifying the basic laboratory principles used in this test within clinical settings. The workshop featured an interactive training approach based on simplified explanation and direct discussion with students, which helped consolidate fundamental concepts and provided them with an initial practical understanding of laboratory work related to anesthesia and healthcare practice.
