The Department of Anesthesia Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies organized a scientific workshop on 14/4/2026 entitled “Drug Allergy Reaction Test”, held as part of Sustainability Week 2026 at the Anesthesia booth, supervised by Mr. Ali Rasool Hussein, Mrs. Istabraq Rasool Hussein, and Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim. The workshop aimed to introduce students and participants to the fundamentals of drug allergy reaction testing and the mechanisms of early detection of drug hypersensitivity, while highlighting preventive procedures to reduce risks during drug administration in healthcare settings. It also emphasized the development of clinical skills in managing emergency allergic reactions in line with principles of healthcare sustainability and quality of care. The workshop included both theoretical and practical components and witnessed active participation through scientific discussions and hands-on applications, which contributed to enhancing understanding and improving professional competence in this vital field.
