Scientific Visit for Architecture Engineering Students to the Babylon Archaeological Site

As part of the scientific activities organized by the Department of Architecture Engineering at the College of Engineering / Al-Mustaqbal University, a scientific visit was organized for the department’s students to Babylon Archaeological Site with the aim of enhancing students’ academic and practical knowledge and introducing them to the historical and architectural heritage of the ancient city of Babylon. The visit included a field tour of the most prominent archaeological landmarks, where students explored the architectural and planning characteristics of the historical sites, as well as the architectural elements reflecting the greatness of Babylonian civilization and its significance in the history of ancient architecture. The visit also aimed to connect academic study with practical observation and to develop students’ architectural and cultural awareness through direct exposure to historical and archaeological landmarks of great cultural value. This visit comes within the department’s efforts to develop students’ scientific and intellectual skills and enhance their understanding of architectural identity and cultural heritage, contributing to the preparation of academically and culturally aware professionals.
