Department of Artificial Kidney Technologies Continues a Training Course on Nursing Fundamentals at Universit Al-Mustaqbal

The Department of Artificial Kidney Technologies at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Universit Al-Mustaqbal, continued the activities of its training course on Nursing Fundamentals for the second consecutive day, with the participation of students from the Department of Artificial Kidney Technologies and the Department of Emergency Medical Technologies, as part of the department’s efforts to enhance students’ practical skills and strengthen their applied clinical competencies. The course, supervised and delivered by lecturer Zainab Ali Mohsen and lecturer Kadhim Hussein Jasim from the College of Nursing, included practical training on essential nursing skills, such as measuring vital signs including blood pressure, blood glucose levels, respiratory rate, and heart pulse rate, contributing to the preparation of qualified healthcare personnel with both scientific knowledge and practical expertise. The course emphasized the importance of practical training in developing students’ competencies and improving their professional readiness, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, through providing an integrated educational and training environment that supports the quality of healthcare education. This course represents one of the important scientific and training initiatives organized by the department and the university to refine students’ skills, enhance their capabilities, and strengthen the university’s academic and scientific standing at both the local and international levels.
