Al-Mustaqbal University hosted, on the morning of Wednesday, 13/5/2026, at the University Presidency, Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, during an academic visit aimed at strengthening scientific and academic cooperation between the two universities. He was received by Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdy, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini, Dean of the College of Law, along with a number of faculty members and administrative officials. The visit included a meeting with postgraduate students enrolled in the Master’s program in Public International Law and Administrative Law, hosted by the College of Law. During the meeting, the guest reviewed the nature of the academic programs and approved curricula, in addition to discussing the main scientific and research topics pursued by postgraduate students, as well as mechanisms for developing the research environment in a way that contributes to enhancing the academic level. The meeting also witnessed a fruitful academic dialogue between Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater and the postgraduate students, focusing on the importance of scientific research in advancing legal studies and the necessity of openness to Arab and international academic experiences, in a manner that enhances students’ scientific and research capabilities and keeps pace with modern developments in the legal field. Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater expressed his admiration for the advanced academic and scientific level achieved by the College of Law, praising the scientific and organizational capabilities provided by the university to its students, as well as the efforts exerted by the College Deanship in supporting and developing postgraduate programs. He affirmed that the remarkable progress witnessed by the university reflects its ambitious academic vision and its distinguished position among Iraqi and Arab universities.
