Self-confidence is one of the most important factors influencing young people’s personalities and their ability to achieve success in various aspects of life, as it empowers individuals to face challenges, make decisions, express ideas clearly, and pursue goals with determination, during youth in particular, self-confidence plays a crucial role in shaping personal identity and future aspirations, several factors contribute to the development of self-confidence, including family environment, educational experiences, and social interactions, positive support from parents, teachers, and peers helps young individuals recognize their value and capabilities, while constant criticism and negative comparisons may lead to insecurity and reduced self-esteem, achieving small goals and personal accomplishments significantly strengthens confidence by creating a sense of competence and progress, encouraging youth to develop skills, participate in social and creative activities, and embrace positive thinking can further enhance their self-belief, learning to accept mistakes as opportunities for growth also contributes to resilience and emotional maturity, in the digital age, social media can strongly influence self-image, often creating unrealistic comparisons that negatively affect confidence, making it essential to promote self-awareness and emphasize personal worth beyond external validation, maintaining physical and mental well-being through exercise, healthy routines, and stress management also supports confidence and emotional stability, ultimately, enhancing self-confidence among youth is essential for building empowered, productive, and resilient individuals capable of contributing positively to society and achieving meaningful personal and professional success.
