The Medical Physics Department at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, held an educational workshop titled Women’s Empowerment on March 5, 2026, as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to support social awareness initiatives and highlight the role of women in building and developing society. The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Ali Jaafar Ubaid, Assistant Lecturer Lubna Ali, Assistant Lecturer Hamza Abbas Jawad, and Ameer Osama Adnan. It addressed several important themes focused on the importance of empowering women in scientific, social, and professional fields, as well as the role of academic institutions in promoting a culture of support, inclusion, and equal opportunity. The session presented awareness-based and educational perspectives on strengthening women’s participation in development, highlighting their active role in society, and emphasizing the importance of supporting their presence in education, work, and community contribution. This workshop came within the activities organized by the Medical Physics Department at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, to promote community awareness, reinforce humanitarian values, and support sustainable development goals through purposeful academic initiatives that serve both students and society.
