Future University Engineering Delegation Concludes Training Program in Turkey

In line with Future University's vision of engaging with global academic institutions and enhancing its students' skills in modern scientific fields, a delegation from the College of Engineering concluded its active participation in the international training program hosted by Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKU) in the Republic of Turkey. Transnational Academic Cooperation The delegation was headed by Dr. Amir Najah Saud. This participation stemmed from the university's directives aimed at developing students' practical skills and exposing them to the latest global educational and research systems. The delegation included a select group of students from the college who presented a distinguished image of engineering education in Iraq. Intensive Program: From Renewable Energy to Drone Technologies The program included a series of high-level scientific and field activities, most notably: • Official meetings with the administration of Alanya University to discuss ways to activate memoranda of understanding and student exchange programs. • Research tours that included the laboratories of the Colleges of Engineering, Science, and Medicine, to observe the latest laboratory equipment and technologies. • Specialized training at the Solar Energy Production Center, in addition to high-quality workshops on drone technology and its modern applications. • Knowledge exchange through discussion panels that brought together Future University students and their Turkish counterparts, contributing to enhancing academic communication and teamwork skills. Fruits of Participation and Future Recommendations This scientific trip yielded tangible results, providing students with practical experience that goes beyond theory and opening new horizons for future research collaboration. At the conclusion of the participation, the delegation emphasized the necessity of: 1. Sustaining these international programs due to their direct impact on enhancing the efficiency of graduates. 2. Expanding student participation in upcoming international forums. 3. Activating academic partnerships with the Turkish side to strengthen scientific exchange programs. It is worth noting that Future University continuously strives, through its strategic plans, to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly the goal related to "quality education" and "partnerships for the goals," by providing world-class learning environments for its students.
