Comprehensive maintenance work on laboratory equipment was completed on Sunday, 4/5/2026, at 10:00 AM in the Electrical Engineering Technologies Department Lab (305 - BL) at the Technical Engineering College, under the patronage of the Dean of the Technical Engineering College and direct supervision of Dr. Suraa Mousa Ali, Director of the Laboratories Unit. This effort was part of a series of training sessions and practical applications aimed at enhancing laboratory efficiency and ensuring the continuity of practical work. The maintenance included addressing faults that were affecting the progress of practical experiments. This involved repairing the (F.E.T) board and (PN / Zener / LED) board by fixing and recalibrating current and voltage sources, in addition to servicing various types of oscilloscopes. Issues such as power failure, weak or absent signals were resolved, and a modern device that had been out of service was rehabilitated and restored to operation. The maintenance tasks were carried out by the Maintenance Committee of the Electrical Engineering Technologies Department, represented by Assistant Lecturers Ali Naji Radi and Haider Karrar Hussein. The team conducted comprehensive operational tests after completing the maintenance to ensure the readiness and efficiency of all equipment. This achievement comes as part of ongoing efforts to provide an advanced laboratory environment that supports the educational process and enhances students’ practical skills, especially with the approaching practical examinations. It also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure). These efforts highlight the distinguished position of Al-Mustaqbal University, the leading private university in Iraq, through its continuous support for developing educational infrastructure and improving the quality of its academic outcomes.
