Animal Production Techniques Students Conduct a Humanitarian Field Visit to the State House for Flower Care

In the context of promoting humanitarian values and reinforcing students’ sense of social responsibility, the Department of Animal Production Techniques / First Stage organized a voluntary field activity to the Commission for the Care of Persons with Disabilities and Special Needs / State House for Flower Care on Monday, May 4, 2026, under the supervision of a group of the department’s instructors. The activity witnessed active participation from first-stage students. It included a field visit to the State House for Flower Care, where students were introduced to the nature of services provided to residents with disabilities and special needs. The activity also involved humanitarian initiatives, such as distributing gifts and bringing joy to the children, in addition to direct interaction with them through recreational and social activities. The activity was supervised by Asst. Lect. Maryam Abdullah Kadhim, Asst. Lect. Rasha Fajr Kazzar, and Asst. Lect. Suroor Hafidh Mohammed, who emphasized the importance of such visits in developing students’ humanitarian awareness, strengthening their connection with society, and equipping them with valuable life experiences that contribute to building well-rounded personalities. This activity comes as part of a series of initiatives through which the Department of Animal Production Techniques seeks to support volunteer work and promote a culture of giving, in alignment with the institution’s mission of community service and the preparation of a conscious and responsible generation.
