Within the framework of awareness and educational activities, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division organized a workshop entitled “The Role of the Family in Developing the Social Upbringing of the Individual,” with the participation of a number of faculty members and students.
The workshop aimed to highlight the pivotal role played by the family in shaping an individual’s personality and guiding their social behavior, as well as promoting moral and social values that contribute to building a conscious and responsible generation. It also addressed the importance of a healthy family environment in developing communication skills and positive interaction among children.
The workshop included several key themes, including modern methods of social upbringing, the impact of family relationships on mental health, and a discussion of the major challenges facing families amid rapid social changes.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the organizers emphasized the importance of continuing such awareness activities, which contribute to supporting students psychologically and educationally, and strengthening the role of the family in building a cohesive society.
