A scientific workshop was held under the patronage of the Dean of the Technical Engineering College, Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the laboratories of the Department of Medical Devices Technologies, with the participation of assistants from both the Department of Medical Devices Engineering Technologies and the Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies. This workshop, organized by the Laboratory Management Unit, aimed to enhance concepts of digital transformation and develop participants’ skills in laboratory management using modern systems, especially in organizing maintenance of laboratory equipment and accurately and systematically managing academic workloads, thereby contributing to improved academic and administrative performance. The workshop lectures were delivered by Dr. Sura Musa Ali and Assistant Haider Jalal Ahmed, and included a practical demonstration of a laboratory equipment maintenance program, as well as the presentation of applied models and modern implementation methods that help increase work efficiency within laboratories and achieve digital integration in management. The workshop witnessed positive engagement from participants, who emphasized the importance of such initiatives in supporting digital transformation and raising the level of institutional performance at the college, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure). These activities are part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision to adopt the latest scientific and technological practices and to foster a progressive educational environment that keeps pace with global digital transformations.
