The Technical Engineering College organized an advisory awareness seminar for first-year students in the Departments of Aircraft and Unmanned Aircraft, as well as the Department of Fuel and Energy, on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in the classrooms of the engineering building. The seminar was supervised and presented by Assistant Lecturer Abdulkhaleq Mahdi Abdulkarim, Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, with the participation of the counseling committee. The session focused on introducing students to the mission and vision of the Counseling Unit, emphasizing the importance of regular attendance at lectures, and establishing a culture of mutual respect between students and faculty members. Students were also made aware of the dangers of extremism in speech and behaviors that could lead to violence within the university environment. The seminar highlighted the importance of building a safe and supportive educational environment and promoting positive communication among students, contributing to the development of their academic and social personalities and achieving harmony within the university community. This event reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment—ranked first among private universities in Iraq—to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals, especially Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), by promoting behavioral and educational awareness and instilling positive values in students.
