Al-Mustaqbal University Students Organize a Scientific Seminar on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

Students of the Department of Biochemistry at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a scientific seminar entitled “Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in Children”, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Abbas Hamza Khudair and with direct guidance from the department presidency, in the presence of a distinguished group of faculty members and students. The seminar addressed the main scientific aspects related to Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, highlighting its possible causes and neurobiological mechanisms, as well as its behavioral and cognitive impacts on children. Participants also reviewed the latest methods used in diagnosing the disorder and modern treatment approaches in line with recent scientific developments. In this context, the organizers emphasized that this seminar aligns with the department’s vision to develop students’ scientific and research skills, enhance their academic presentation and discussion abilities, and strengthen critical thinking, contributing to building a solid knowledge base that supports their academic and professional paths. This activity reflects the department’s commitment to sustainable education goals, particularly in promoting quality education and fostering critical thinking and scientific communication skills, in line with the demands of the modern academic environment.
