The Department of Biology at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness campaign on Sunday, April 26, 2026, entitled “Water Pollution: Causes and Solutions”, held within the corridors of Al-Mustaqbal University. The campaign was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Banin Ma’an Karim, with follow-up from the department administration as part of the approved scientific and awareness activities. The campaign aimed to enhance students’ environmental awareness regarding the dangers of water pollution and its impact on public health and the environment, as well as to emphasize the importance of preserving water resources and reducing pollution sources. The campaign included the distribution of educational brochures to students, which addressed the main causes of water pollution, methods of prevention, and possible solutions to limit its spread, thereby contributing to the dissemination of environmental culture within the university campus. The campaign witnessed positive interaction from students through their engagement with the awareness materials and participation in discussions, reflecting their interest in environmental issues and the importance of environmental protection.
