On Wednesday, 29/4/2026, the staff members of the Department of Biochemistry organized a distinguished celebratory event on the occasion of the blessed birth anniversary of Imam Ali bin Musa Al-Ridha (peace be upon him), under the direct supervision of the lecturer M.M. Istabraq Aref, with the participation of a number of the department’s members. This activity came within the framework of reviving sacred religious occasions that reflect the depth of spiritual and moral values derived from the biography of the أهل البيت (peace be upon them). The event highlighted the scientific and humanitarian status of Imam Al-Ridha (peace be upon him), as well as his role in spreading knowledge and strengthening the principles of ethics, tolerance, and intellectual awareness. The event witnessed a spiritual atmosphere filled with affection and harmony among participants, which contributed to enhancing teamwork and cooperation within the department, and reinforcing noble human values in the academic environment. This activity is part of a series of purposeful events through which the department seeks to commemorate religious occasions and emphasize ethical and scientific values, in harmony with the role of academic institutions in building a balanced scientific and human personality.
