The Department of Archeology in the College of Arts and Humanities organized a voluntary humanitarian campaign to support educational institutions in Babylon Governorate on Thursday, April 23, 2026. The campaign witnessed a distinguished presence and direct field follow-up by the Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Mitham Abdul Khadr, who had a prominent role in supervising the implementation of the initiative and coordinating efforts between faculty and students, which contributed to the success of the campaign and the achievement of its community goals. The campaign included the distribution of more than (20) ceiling fans to a number of primary schools, including Hassan Shehata Primary School for Girls, Al-Nasr Primary School for Girls, Ur Primary School for Boys, and Sadr Al-Iraq Primary School, in an effort to improve the learning environment and create a suitable atmosphere for students in conjunction with rising temperatures.
