Within the framework of activating the academic twinning agreement and developing joint scientific efforts between Al-Mustaqbal University and Al-Qasim Green University, Professor Dr. Hadi Yasser Abbood, a faculty member at the College of Agricultural Technologies, participated as a member of the Scientific Committee meeting for the Department of Soil and Water Resources at Al-Qasim Green University’s College of Agriculture. The meeting was held at 10:00 AM on Sunday, April 26, 2026, addressing several key scientific and administrative issues aimed at advancing the department’s academic journey. The meeting resulted in several significant decisions, most notably the approval of a scientific promotion for Dr. Saifuddin Karim from the rank of Lecturer to Assistant Professor, in recognition of his scientific efforts and research achievements. Additionally, the committee discussed a request regarding a change of specialization for one of the department's faculty members, which was resolved in accordance with approved regulations and instructions. In a related context, the mechanisms for admitting postgraduate students (Master's and PhD) for the upcoming academic year were discussed, ensuring alignment with academic standards and enhancing the quality of educational and research outcomes.
