The Department of Biology at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a practical workshop titled “Typhoid Fever Detection Test” on Wednesday, 22/4/2026, for third-year students. The workshop was held in the Department of Biology laboratory under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Zahraa Jawad Kazim, with follow-up by the department administration in accordance with the approved academic plan. The workshop aimed to enhance students’ practical skills in the field of clinical analysis and to familiarize them with disease detection mechanisms, particularly the typhoid fever test, contributing to linking theoretical knowledge with practical application. The workshop included hands-on laboratory applications for detecting typhoid fever using approved diagnostic tests, along with a detailed explanation of the procedures and accurate interpretation of results, thereby improving students’ laboratory competence. The workshop witnessed notable interaction from students through direct participation in conducting tests, asking questions, and engaging in scientific discussions, reflecting their eagerness to acquire practical skills and deepen their understanding of the subject. This activity comes as part of the Department of Biology’s efforts at Al-Mustaqbal University to develop students’ laboratory skills and enhance the quality of applied education in line with the requirements of modern higher education.
