The Department of biology at Al-Mustaqbal University participated, on Monday, April 13, 2026, in the Women’s Affairs Exhibition held as part of the university’s Sustainability Week activities, through a distinguished participation by female students of the department. The participation aimed to highlight the role of women in scientific fields, promote awareness of environmental sustainability, and encourage students to apply their scientific knowledge in presenting practical models that serve the community. The participation included the display of plant and flower samples presented by the students, accompanied by scientific explanations of their environmental importance and their role in improving quality of life and maintaining ecological balance, reflecting the connection between life sciences, nature, and sustainability. It also highlighted the role of women in supporting scientific research and promoting environmental awareness within the university community. The exhibition witnessed notable engagement from attendees, who showed clear interest in the scientific displays and participated in discussions highlighting the importance of plants and their role in daily life.
