Rusul Jabar Jameel Key Discussion Points: The seminar emphasized the necessity of shifting toward sustainable designs to counter extreme climatic conditions, covering: Thermal Insulation and Energy Efficiency: Utilizing modern construction materials to reduce energy consumption in cooling and heating. Resilient Design: Engineering buildings to withstand storms, floods, and sudden soil changes. Green Architecture: Integrating green spaces and water recycling systems to minimize carbon footprints. Material Sustainability: Selecting eco-friendly building materials with long lifespans to endure volatile weather. Objective: The seminar aimed to raise awareness among engineering staff and students about integrating environmental dimensions into structural plans and adopting "Smart and Sustainable Building" standards.
