The judging committee of the National University Journalism Festival, held on the morning of Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Imam Al-Sadiq University (peace be upon him), announced that Al-Mustaqbal University Newspaper, published by Al-Mustaqbal University, has won the award for Best News Coverage. Professor Dr. Akram Faraj Al-Rubaie, Head of the Media Department at Al-Mustaqbal University and Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper, received the award shield on behalf of the university. The festival witnessed the participation of numerous newspapers issued by public and private universities and their colleges. It was also attended by distinguished representatives from both public and private universities, along with various media outlets, reflecting the importance of the event in supporting and promoting university journalism.
