The lecture was held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., in Hall (301) on the third floor of the Humanities Building, as part of the university’s Sustainability Week activities. The lecture addressed the concept of the “Generation of Sustainability” as a mindset and responsibility that goes beyond age, focusing on the role of university students in addressing environmental, social, and economic challenges as future leaders and decision-makers. It also highlighted the impacts of climate change and the importance of immediate action to mitigate its risks. The lecture was delivered in an interactive scientific manner and included four main themes: defining sustainability and its dimensions (environmental, social, and economic), explaining why students are considered the generation of sustainability, presenting practical tools to transform awareness into daily behavior, and discussing the major challenges facing this generation along with ways to overcome them. The lecture aimed to enhance students’ awareness of their responsibilities toward the environment and society, and to encourage them to adopt sustainable practices in their daily and academic lives, contributing to building a more balanced and just future for upcoming generations. #College_of_Education #Al_Mustaqbal_University
