College of Health and Medical Technologies Launches the First Alumni Forum: Our Graduates, Leaders of Sustainability

In line with its ongoing efforts to strengthen engagement with its alumni and support their academic and professional pathways, the College of Health and Medical Technologies, represented by the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit, organized its First Alumni Forum under the theme “Our Graduates: Leaders of Sustainability.” This initiative reflects the College’s pioneering role in empowering its graduates and aligning their competencies with the evolving demands of the labor market. The forum was attended by the Dean of the College, Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayyim, the Scientific Assistant, Dr. Ahmed Al-Khafaji, along with a distinguished group of faculty members, students, and alumni, in a dynamic and intellectually engaging atmosphere. The forum featured a series of specialized scientific lectures, أبرزها a lecture on the application of Artificial Intelligence in the healthcare sector, delivered by Dr. Musaddiq Maher, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Center. The lecture highlighted the latest AI-driven solutions that contribute to enhancing healthcare quality, accelerating diagnostic processes, and supporting medical decision-making. Additionally, a lecture titled “Roadmap for Graduates” was presented by Mr. Ali Yousif from the Department of Radiological Technologies, focusing on preparing graduates for the labor market through the development of career planning skills and the enhancement of both personal and technical competencies. On the sidelines of the forum, several inspiring alumni success stories were showcased, where graduates shared their professional journeys and post-graduation experiences. They shed light on the challenges they encountered and how they successfully overcame them to achieve notable accomplishments in their respective fields. These stories served as a strong source of inspiration for attendees and reinforced the values of ambition and perseverance among new graduates. In her remarks, the Dean of the College, Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayyim, emphasized that the forum represents an important interactive platform that brings together alumni and experts, fostering knowledge exchange and opening new avenues for professional development and employment.
