The College of Health and Medical Technologies – Rehabilitation and Employment Unit – organized its first Alumni Forum under the slogan “Our Graduates are Sustainability Leaders” on Monday, April 13, 2026. The forum aimed to strengthen communication with the college’s graduates and support their academic and professional careers in line with labor market requirements. The event was attended by the Dean of the College, Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayyim, the Scientific Assistant, Dr. Ahmed Al-Khafaji, and the Head of the Anesthesia Technologies Department, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Khudair Al-Humari, in addition to a number of faculty members and students. The program included a series of specialized scientific lectures. Dr. Musaddiq Maher, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Center, delivered a lecture on the application of artificial intelligence in the healthcare sector, highlighting the latest technologies that contribute to improving healthcare quality, enhancing diagnostic efficiency, and supporting medical decision-making. Additionally, Mr. Ali Yousif from the Radiology Technologies Department presented a lecture titled “Roadmap for Graduates”, focusing on preparing graduates for the job market by developing career planning skills and strengthening both personal and technical competencies. The forum also featured presentations of success stories from the college’s graduates, where they shared their professional experiences, the challenges they faced after graduation, and the key achievements they accomplished in their respective fields. The Dean of the College emphasized that organizing this forum reflects the college’s commitment to maintaining continuous communication with its graduates, providing an interactive environment for knowledge exchange, and opening new opportunities for development and employment, as well as enhancing graduates’ awareness of keeping pace with modern developments across various fields.
