Sponsored by the Dean of the College of Arts, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Mitham Abdul Khadir Jabbar, delivered an awareness workshop entitled "The Green Transition in Educational Institutions Towards a Sustainable University" on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, in the Humanities Building of Al-Mustaqbal University. The workshop targeted college students as part of its efforts to spread a culture of sustainability and enhance environmental awareness. The workshop aimed to educate students about the importance of transitioning to environmentally friendly practices within educational institutions by rationalizing resource consumption, reducing waste, and adopting sustainable teaching methods that contribute to environmental protection. The workshop also addressed the role of students in supporting the green transition through their daily behaviors on campus, emphasizing that achieving sustainability requires concerted efforts between the administration and students alike. Al-Mustaqbal University, the first among private universities.
