The Department of Computer Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University kicked off the first event of the "Sustainable Digital Transformation: Integration of Modern Communication Technologies, Computer Networks, and Embedded Systems" with a moment of silence and a recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah in tribute and remembrance of the souls of Iraq’s noble martyrs. The event took place in the Activities Hall of the Engineering Building on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. The forum was launched with the aim of promoting the principles of responsible technological innovation and upholding national values, as well as developing the knowledge and skills of academic staff and students, in line with the requirements of quality and excellence in adopting sustainable digital solutions for the 2025-2026 academic year. The opening session included a review of the forum’s themes, which focused on integration mechanisms between communication systems and embedded systems, emphasizing modern standards adopted in the design of smart networks while aligning these technical trends with sustainable development goals in accordance with global scientific quality requirements.
