The Department of Biochemistry at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a scientific workshop entitled “Leadership in Times of Crisis,” presented by Dr. Aseel Amer Hadi, as part of the department’s activities aimed at developing students’ leadership skills. The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the concept of leadership in exceptional circumstances, and the key qualities a leader must possess to face challenges and crises, in addition to highlighting modern strategies in crisis management and effective decision-making. Dr. Aseel emphasized the importance of leadership roles in achieving stability and organization during crises, presenting a set of real-life examples and practical approaches that help enhance students’ ability to think critically and act wisely in difficult situations. The workshop witnessed remarkable interaction from students through active participation in discussions and questions, which contributed to enhancing their awareness and developing their leadership abilities.
