Al-Mustaqbal University has expanded its international academic partnership network as the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdy, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Reading, United Kingdom, with the aim of enhancing scientific and research cooperation and developing academic exchange opportunities between the two institutions The signing ceremony was attended by the Iraqi Cultural Attaché to the United Kingdom, Professor Dr. Qusay Al-Ahmadi, along with a number of academic and administrative leaders from the University of Reading. During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to advance joint cooperation in scientific and research fields The memorandum included exploring the launch of joint academic programs and dual-degree pathways, in addition to examining scholarship opportunities and student support facilities. It also emphasized strengthening collaboration in scientific research and promoting the exchange of expertise and knowledge between the two parties The visit also witnessed the exchange of commemorative shields between both sides, reaffirming the strength of their academic relations and their shared commitment to building a sustainable partnership that serves the goals of higher education and scientific research On the sidelines of the visit, the University President and the Iraqi Cultural Attaché met with a number of Iraqi students and researchers studying at the University of Reading.
