Al-Mustaqbal University Signs Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Nottingham to Strengthen Academic and Research Collaboration

In a step that reflects its commitment to expanding international partnerships, Al-Mustaqbal University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the School of Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, during an official visit led by the University President, Professor Hassan Shaker Majdi, accompanied by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Ahmed Al-Dhalimi, and the Cultural Advisor, Professor Qusai Al-Ahmadi. The visit included a series of extensive academic meetings with officials from the University of Nottingham to explore opportunities for enhancing cooperation in academic twinning programs, dual-degree initiatives, and joint research projects, as well as promoting the exchange of expertise among researchers and academic staff from both institutions. This agreement holds particular significance given the distinguished global standing of the University of Nottingham’s School of Pharmacy, which is ranked first in the United Kingdom and eighth worldwide. At the same time, the College of Pharmacy at Al-Mustaqbal University continues to strengthen its academic reputation following its achievement of ACPE accreditation, reflecting its commitment to international standards of pharmaceutical education. The Memorandum of Understanding aims to advance scientific and research collaboration and create new opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students in the fields of pharmaceutical sciences and biotechnology, thereby contributing to the enhancement of educational quality and research excellence at both institutions.
