Al-Mustaqbal University has expanded its international academic and research cooperation network through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the School of Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham. The agreement was concluded during an official visit to the United Kingdom by the University President, Professor Hassan Shakir Majdi, accompanied by Professor Ahmed Al-Dalimi, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, and attended by Professor Qusay Al-Ahmadi, Iraqi Cultural Attaché in the United Kingdom The visit included a series of intensive meetings with officials from the University of Nottingham and academic leaders from its School of Pharmacy. During these discussions, both parties explored opportunities for collaboration in education and scientific research, mechanisms for developing academic exchange programs, and the establishment of scientific initiatives aimed at strengthening communication and cooperation between researchers and faculty members at both institutions This partnership is built upon the distinguished academic standing of both institutions. The School of Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham enjoys an internationally recognized reputation for excellence, while the College of Pharmacy at Al-Mustaqbal University continues to strengthen its academic position through the adoption of international standards and the continuous development of its educational and research environment The visit concluded with the official signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, marking the beginning of a new phase of institutional cooperation that includes the exchange of scientific expertise, the implementation of joint research projects, and support for academic activities that contribute to advancing pharmaceutical education and enhancing the research capabilities of students and faculty members This step forms part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s strategy to establish high-quality partnerships with leading international universities, further strengthening its global presence and supporting its vision of creating a more open and integrated academic environment connected to distinguished educational institutions worldwide
