From May 15 to 16, 2026, Al-Mustaqbal University hosted the Iraqi Championship for Specialized Bodybuilding and Fitness Centers. Held at the Babylon Tourist Resort exhibition grounds, the event was organized by the Iraqi National Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, in cooperation with the local sub-federation, Babil Governorate, and the Directorate of Youth and Sports. ​The championship featured athletes representing various Iraqi governorates. The activities included prejudging rounds, fitness routines, and the selection of top winners across different weight categories. This annual tournament serves to evaluate specialized sports centers and discover young athletic talent.
