Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the Engineering Technical College at Al-Mustaqbal University signed a joint scientific Memorandum of Cooperation with the College of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Technology. The agreement was formalized on Wednesday, April 29, 2025, at the premises of the University of Technology. The delegation representing Al-Mustaqbal University included: Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, Dean of the Engineering Technical College Assistant Professor Dr. Ameen Mohammed Kitab, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs Professor Dr. Bayan Sabbar Kammaz, Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department Professor Dr. Salwan Obaid Waheed, Director of the Energy Research Center Lecturer Dr. Mujtaba Abdul Kadhim, Secretary of the College Council The memorandum aims to strengthen academic and research collaboration, support joint scientific projects, enhance the supervision of postgraduate students, and organize various scientific activities. During the meeting, the available laboratory equipment and measurement instruments at the college were reviewed, with the aim of utilizing them to support and advance research proposals for master’s and doctoral students. This initiative is expected to contribute to reinforcing the applied dimension of scientific research. The delegation also visited the Presidency of the University of Technology, where they met with Professor Dr. Mohsen Nouri Hamza, President of the University of Technology.
