In line with the University Presidency’s commitment to closely following up with its students participating in international training programs in the Republic of Türkiye, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, met with the university’s students enrolled in the international training program at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKU) on the fourth day of the program’s activities. During his meeting with the students, Professor Majdi expressed his great satisfaction with their outstanding performance, praising their strong adherence to the training schedule and their active engagement in lectures and practical workshops. He affirmed that “Al-Mustaqbal University students have presented an honorable image that reflects the strength of Iraqi education and the cultural awareness of its youth. They have proven to be exemplary ambassadors of their university and country through their dedication to acquiring new skills, fostering intellectual exchange with their Turkish peers, and building strong friendships between both sides.” In a related context, the President of Al-Mustaqbal University also met with his counterpart, Professor Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan, President of Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University, along with Assistant Administrative Professor Dr. Mehmet Kılç, where discussions were held on enhancing prospects for academic cooperation between the two institutions. Professor Majdi expressed his deep appreciation to Professor Türkdoğan and the university administration for their warm reception and for providing all necessary facilities to ensure the success of the program. He also commended the significant role of the Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports in sponsoring and organizing this distinguished training initiative. Furthermore, a ceremony was held for the exchange of commemorative gifts with representatives of the Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports, including Mr. Süleyman Yıldız, Director of the Antalya Youth and Sports Directorate, and Mr. Mehmet Ergül, Director of the Alanya Youth and Sports Directorate. At the conclusion of the meeting, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi presented commemorative gifts and university shields to the President of Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University and the organizing الجهات, in recognition of their efforts in supporting the “Green Steps for Youth – A Shared Future” program.
