The Training and Employment Follow-up Division at Al-Mustaqbal University participated in an applied scientific field trip organized by the Technical Engineering College / Department of Building and Construction Technologies Engineering to Babel Tower Company for Studies and Scientific Research on Monday, 27/4/2026. The visit was held under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, and the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, as part of the 2026 strategy aimed at enhancing applied education and aligning academic outcomes with labor market requirements The trip witnessed the participation of an academic delegation that included Professor Dr. Iman Abdulaziz, Director of the Training and Employment Follow-up Division, along with the department rapporteur Dr. Bariq Ali Abdulhadi, a number of faculty members from the Department of Building and Construction Technologies Engineering, as well as a group of students from various academic stages, with the aim of developing their field skills and strengthening their practical experience The delegation was received by Professor Dr. Samer Abdulameer Al-Mashhadi, the authorized director of Babel Tower Company, who praised such initiatives, emphasizing their role in preparing qualified engineering cadres capable of keeping pace with developments in the labor market and enhancing integration between theoretical and practical aspects The program included a field tour inside the company’s laboratories, where students were introduced to the latest equipment and technologies used in engineering testing. It also featured practical experiments in construction materials, soil, and structural laboratories, accompanied by specialized technical explanations provided by engineering and technical staff, which contributed to reinforcing scientific concepts and developing applied skills The trip covered one specialized applied institution; however, it provided an integrated practical experience that enhanced students’ readiness for the labor market and reflected the importance of partnership between academic institutions and applied sectors This participation comes within Al-Mustaqbal University’s strategy to support practical training and enable students to engage in real work environments, thereby contributing to academic and professional excellence
