Your Rights Are Non-Negotiable: Protect Yourself Within the framework of Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing commitment to supporting women’s issues and strengthening their role in society, the Women’s Affairs Division emphasizes the importance of promoting legal and social awareness among women as one of the fundamental pillars for achieving genuine empowerment and sustainable development. Full awareness of personal, legal, and social rights represents an essential step toward creating a safe environment that preserves women’s dignity and safeguards their status. Women’s rights are an integral part of universal human rights, encompassing the right to education, employment, social participation, freedom of decision-making, and protection from all forms of violence, discrimination, and exploitation. From this perspective, these rights are non-negotiable and must neither be compromised nor relinquished. Rather, they require continuous awareness, protection, and defense through all available legal and social means. Community education plays a crucial role in empowering women to understand their rights and the mechanisms available to protect them, whether through institutional support, awareness programs, or the utilization of legal frameworks that guarantee justice and equality. Furthermore, strengthening self-confidence and developing personal skills are essential factors that enable women to confront challenges effectively and take decisive actions in protecting themselves. The Women’s Affairs Division at Al-Mustaqbal University seeks to establish a societal culture based on mutual respect while rejecting all forms of violation, marginalization, and exclusion. This is achieved through initiatives and activities aimed at raising awareness among female students and staff members, while enhancing their capacities to build a more secure and stable future. Protecting oneself begins with knowledge and is reflected in a woman’s ability to reject any form of abuse or infringement upon her rights and dignity. Therefore, spreading a culture of rights awareness constitutes a collective responsibility that contributes to building a more just and equitable academic and social community—one in which women’s rights remain constant, protected, and non-negotiable. #Ranked_first_among_private_universities_in_Iraq
