Toward Global Academic Horizons: President of Al-Mustaqbal University Joins Ministerial Delegation on Academic Tour in Egypt
The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Hassan Shaker Majdi, participated in a high-level ministerial delegation to the Arab Republic of Egypt, led by the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Scientific Affairs, Professor Haider Abd Dhahd. The visit aimed to strengthen bilateral academic cooperation and activate joint scientific partnerships. The tour focused on implementing MoUs and advancing research collaboration, including key meetings with Al-Azhar University to enhance academic integration and exchange expertise. It also reviewed joint postgraduate programs with Mansoura University, highlighting the successful Master’s in Law program hosted at Al-Mustaqbal University as a pioneering Iraqi–Egyptian partnership. The delegation held meetings at Egypt’s Ministry of Higher Education to discuss mutual recognition, twinning programs, and initiatives to improve global university rankings. It also met Elsevier’s regional office to explore AI-driven research publishing and visited EnTlaq at Mansoura University, showcasing leading digital transformation practices. Professor Majdi praised the leadership of Professor Haider Abd Dhahd, affirming that Al-Mustaqbal University’s participation reflects its commitment to global standards and expanding collaboration with prestigious Egyptian institutions.
