Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the Women’s Affairs Division, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Health and Medical Technologies / Department of Radiological Techniques, organized an activity entitled “Less Energy… Higher Efficiency” on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. The activity was delivered by Ms. Riam Raad from the Department of Radiological Techniques. The activity addressed the importance of the responsible use of energy and its role in preserving natural resources and reducing negative environmental impacts. It also presented a range of daily practices that contribute to improving energy efficiency within classrooms and laboratories, such as regulating the use of electrical devices and minimizing unnecessary consumption. Furthermore, the activity highlighted the role of educational institutions in promoting sustainability concepts among students and encouraging them to adopt responsible behaviors that reduce energy consumption and ensure the optimal use of available resources. It emphasized that adherence to proper energy-use practices is a fundamental step toward building a more sustainable educational environment. The activity aimed to enhance students’ awareness of the importance of energy efficiency, strengthen their sense of environmental responsibility, and promote a culture of rational consumption in line with the requirements of sustainable development. This initiative comes as part of the department’s continuous efforts to support environmental and awareness-raising programs and to strengthen the role of the academic community in preserving natural resources and building a more sustainable future.
