Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the Women’s Affairs Division, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Arts and Humanities / Department of Archaeology, organized an awareness campaign entitled “Women’s Health Begins with Vitamins: Strength, Balance, and a Better Life” on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The campaign was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Ria Nassif Jassim. The campaign aimed to raise awareness among women about the importance of vitamins and their essential role in maintaining overall health. It also sought to clarify the types of vitamins required at different life stages, particularly those related to bone health, skin, and hair. The campaign further emphasized the prevention of vitamin deficiencies, which may lead to various health issues such as anemia and weakened immunity. In addition, it encouraged women to adopt a balanced diet rich in essential nutrients, while addressing common misconceptions regarding dietary supplements and promoting their safe and appropriate use. Moreover, the campaign highlighted the importance of regular health check-ups to monitor vitamin levels in the body, contributing to early prevention and the maintenance of general well-being. It also focused on empowering women to take informed responsibility for their health in a manner that positively impacts their families and the wider community. This initiative aligns with the Third National Action Plan on Women, Peace, and Security—particularly the pillars of prevention and protection—and supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, especially Goal 5 (Gender Equality). Al-Mustaqbal University continues to reinforce its leading position, ranking first among private universities.
