Al-Mustaqbal University strengthened its orientation toward transformation into a productive university and sustainable innovation during a strategic meeting held on Sunday, 10/5/2026, at the university presidency. The meeting was chaired by the President of the University, Hassan Shaker Majdi, in the presence of the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Mudthar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, and with the participation of the Director of the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Division, Iman Abdul Aziz, alongside directors of research centers, the Continuing Education Center, and the Science and Technology Parks Department. These efforts aim to provide innovative solutions to challenges related to energy, climate change, and health, as well as support employment opportunities and reduce unemployment The University President stressed the importance of developing high-quality training programs targeting students, graduates, and various segments of society, while expanding areas of cooperation with governmental and private institutions in a way that strengthens the university’s role in community service and knowledge production. Meanwhile, Mudthar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi highlighted the importance of integration among scientific disciplines and the employment of applications in Artificial Intelligence and energy to support the future of education and scientific research, emphasizing that the coming phase requires teamwork to achieve the goals of sustainable development and innovation

Al-Mustaqbal University has strengthened its international academic presence with the launch of the first day of a joint training program for its students on Monday at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKU) in the Republic of Türkiye, in a step aimed at developing practical skills and embracing global educational experiences This program comes within the framework of international academic cooperation to enable students to gain advanced applied experience, enhance their competitiveness in the global job market, and expand areas of joint scientific research between the two institutions The activities began with a visit by the Al-Mustaqbal University delegation, which included Dr. Amir Najah, Assistant Lecturer Mustafa Hussein Mohammed, and Assistant Lecturer Ali Mazhar. The College of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University strengthened the alignment between educational outcomes and labor market needs during a meeting of its Industrial Advisory Council, held at the college in Babil Province on Monday, April 27, 2026.
