Signing a memorandum of understanding with Al Masar Company

AL-Mustaqbal University signed a cooperation agreement with Al-Masar Kerosene Company. The agreement was signed on behalf of the university by Assistant Lecturer Russell Starr Badr - Director of the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Division. The terms of the agreement lead to Al-Masar Company implementing a training program that includes (15) free training workshops in the field of oil industries. Fourth-level students at the college benefit from the training program, in two groups, the first group includes (20) students, and the second group (20) female students. . Under this agreement, the company will assume responsibility for providing qualified trainers to deliver these workshops, and some trainers from the university will participate in implementing the workshops. This agreement expresses the university’s interest in refining the practical skills of its students.

Electronic Workshop for Entrepreneurs

Part of the activities that are performed by the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit is to organize seminars, workshops and training courses attended by graduates, fourth-year students, in addition to academics for the purpose of promoting students’ knowledge and skills. It is noteworthy that some young people have decided to open small and micro projects, and despite the lack of capital and labor, these projects have become quite popular and managed to provide a lot of job opportunities due to being linked to other projects. We are obliged to note that Al-Mustaqbal University College had an active participation in the live presentation that took place on Wednesday, 18th November, 2020. We should state as well that Alexis Taylor, Head of Entrepreneurship Network has been in charge of the presentation, being attended by 70 graduates of Al-Mustaqbal University College.

Cooperation Agreement with the Department of Labor and Social Affairs Public Training Center

Objective of Agreement: Promoting capabilities and skills of graduates through a number of training and rehabilitating programs The Rehabilitation, Employment & Follow-Up Unit at Al-Mustaqbal University College has paid a visit to the Department of Labor & Social Affairs, Public Training Center / Babylon in an attempt to perpetuate the prospects of cooperation, with a main objective in the mind, and that is to develop the graduates’ skills, qualifying them and raising their competencies in the field of labor market, and thus ensuring that they are fully qualified for labor market, E-marketing, and other life skills.

Participating in the Graduates Recruitment Fair of Information Technology & Communications College

Al-Mustaqbal University College, represented by Career development center has participated in the Third Annual Electronic Job Fair which was organized by University of Information Technology & Communications on Sunday 5th July 2021. A considerable number of graduates, exceeding 100 has attended the Fair. For our part, as an outstanding university in the country, we have invited the graduates of the IT College to work for us in a number of jobs, including System Analysts, Programmers, Projects Managers, Software Designers, etc. Some of these graduates have already been hired by Al-Mustaqbal University College. It is remarkable to note that the participation has been implemented via electronic platforms, and this indeed is an activation to E-Learning and extent of its benefit, specifically under the emergent circumstances imposed by COVID 19 Crisis.

First International Forum of University Students and Graduates for Achieving Sustainable Development Goals 2022

Targeted Group: Students & Graduates The Forum’s Objective is to achieve SDG 17: Enhancement of Private Sector Partnerships. Such partnership provides opportunities for hiring graduates, financing projects and benefiting from modern technology and innovations available at the Private Sector, in addition to providing better Governmental Services through the process of reinforcing capabilities. In addition, there shall be an opportunity for students and graduates to get acquainted with the services and products provided by Private Sector Companies. Moreover, it is considerable to note that International Companies International companies are very important in concluding sub-contracts for different supporting functions, that might contribute in developing local companies’ capabilities, in addition to the possibility of providing summer training opportunities for students.
