The 17 Sustainable Development Goals are integrated - That is, it realizes that work in one area will affect results in others, and that development must balance social, economic and environmental sustainability. By pledging to leave no one behind, the two countries committed to speed up progress for those who are still behind. This is why the Sustainable Development Goals are designed to bring the world to zeros in many aspects of life-changing, including extreme poverty, hunger, AIDS and discrimination against women and girls. Everyone needs to reach these ambitious goals. Creativity, knowledge, technology and financial resources from all of society is essential to achieving the SDGs in every context.
