Al-Mustaqbal University Council Holds Its Tenth Session and Launches Strategic Initiatives to Support Academic and Technological Development

The Council of Al-Mustaqbal University held its tenth session under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdy, President of the University Council, with the attendance of council members, including Professor Dr. Zahraa Haleem Al-Qayyim, Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, to discuss a number of important academic and strategic matters. During the meeting, the Council reviewed the final examination results and discussed mechanisms for enhancing students’ summer training programs. It also expressed its appreciation for the efforts of examination committees and faculty members in ensuring the successful completion of the examination process. The Council further reviewed the outcomes of the University President’s recent international visit and explored ways to strengthen academic and research collaboration with British universities, as well as to develop the capabilities of academic and administrative staff. The Council launched several developmental initiatives, most notably summer employment and training programs, and an Artificial Intelligence Literacy Initiative aimed at empowering students and enhancing their skills in line with digital transformation and labor market requirements. In addition, the Council discussed the latest developments regarding national and international program accreditation and approved the summer activities plan jointly prepared by the Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications and the Continuing Education Center, contributing to the university’s leadership in modern technologies and community engagement. At the conclusion of the session, the Council emphasized the importance of supporting innovation, promoting scientific outputs, and strengthening the university’s role in addressing community challenges in line with its developmental vision and academic mission.
