As part of its commitment to expanding international partnerships, the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdy, signed a Letter of Intent with the University of Reading, United Kingdom. The signing ceremony was attended by the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in the UK, Professor Dr. Qusay Al-Ahmadi, along with academic and administrative representatives from both institutions. The agreement aims to enhance academic and research cooperation through the exploration of dual-degree and academic progression programs, the provision of scholarships and student support opportunities, and the promotion of joint research projects and knowledge exchange between the two universities. On the sidelines of the visit, commemorative shields were exchanged as a symbol of the growing academic relationship between the two institutions. The Iraqi delegation also met with Iraqi students and researchers studying at the University of Reading to learn about their academic experiences and encourage them to continue striving for excellence. This initiative reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s strategic vision to strengthen its international presence and provide outstanding educational and research opportunities for its students and academic staff.
