Within the academic and practical approach toward clean and sustainable energy, Al-Mustaqbal Energy Research Center launched a summer training program for university students, especially students of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, focusing on renewable energy concepts and applications, particularly solar panel systems.
The program included training courses and a practical workshop delivered by both the Center Director and the Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, highlighting the latest solar energy technologies, design, and operational mechanisms.
The program features applied scientific lectures, specialized training workshops, and field visits that provide students with hands-on experience in the operation, maintenance, and performance analysis of solar energy systems.
This training aims to:
Enhance students’ understanding of modern renewable energy technologies.
Prepare them to contribute to projects advancing environmental sustainability.
Support their future employability in green engineering and technical sectors.
This activity aligns with the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, notably:
Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy.
Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure.
Goal 13: Climate Action.
