Al-Mustaqbal University Supports Sustainability: Installation of an Advanced Solar Water Heater at the Shrine of Imam Imran bin Ali

In a pioneering step that reflects Al-Mustaqbal University's commitment to supporting sustainable development and promoting the use of renewable energy sources, and under the supervision and support of the Dean of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, Asst. Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abdul, the Sustainable Development Team at the college – Power Mechanics Engineering Techniques Department – implemented a project to install an advanced solar water heater at the Shrine of Imam Imran bin Ali (Peace Be Upon Him) in the Jomjomah area, one of the most visited sites.

This project aims to provide a clean and sustainable energy source, reducing the consumption of conventional energy and raising awareness of the importance of alternative energy. It is part of a series of initiatives by the college to employ modern technology in serving the community and promoting sustainability concepts across various sectors.

Al-Mustaqbal University is the first in Iraq.
