The Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University honored, on Saturday الموافق 18-4-2026, in the University Presidency building, a group of distinguished staff and students who effectively contributed to the success of the “Al-Mustaqbal International Sustainability Week” activities. This event was held under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, as part of the university’s efforts to promote a culture of excellence and reinforce the values of creativity and initiative. The ceremony was attended by academic and administrative figures, where the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, delivered a speech on behalf of the university presidency. He emphasized that this recognition comes in appreciation of the outstanding efforts made by the honorees and their active role in spreading sustainability concepts and raising awareness within the university community and beyond, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 13 (Climate Action). He further noted that the achievements realized during the Sustainability Week reflect an advanced level of engagement and responsibility among students and staff, highlighting the university’s ability to prepare effective scientific talents that contribute to community service and sustainable development.
