Al-Mustaqbal University launched the “Innovate to Save Energy” initiative as part of the Fourth International Future Week for Sustainability, scheduled to take place from April 11 to April 15, 2036, on campus, aiming to promote sustainable practices and rationalize energy consumption. The initiative was introduced under the slogan “Think, Innovate, Launch,” inviting students, faculty members, and staff to actively participate by submitting innovative ideas and practical projects that contribute to reducing energy consumption, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and Goal 13 (Climate Action). The initiative includes several main areas, such as innovative ideas for energy conservation, smart solutions for consumption management, awareness campaigns, and renewable energy projects. It also provides participants the opportunity to share their suggestions and proposals to help create a more sustainable university environment. The university confirmed that outstanding ideas and projects will be recognized through financial and moral rewards, in addition to supporting and funding distinguished proposals and offering the opportunity to implement them within the university’s institutions, reflecting its commitment to environmental and social responsibility and efficient resource use.
