The Student Activities Department – Special Needs Unit at Al-Mustaqbal University participated in an awareness seminar organized by the Middle Euphrates Oil Products Distribution Authority, in collaboration with the university and the Noor Al-Imam Al-Sajjad Institute for the Blind and Visually Impaired, under the title "How to Deal with Persons with Disabilities and Special Needs.” The seminar aimed to raise awareness of effective approaches to interacting with persons with disabilities and supporting their needs. Mr. Sajjad Razzaq Al-Hilali, an employee at the university's Special Needs Unit, delivered a lecture highlighting the importance of providing an inclusive environment while presenting Al-Mustaqbal University’s experience in supporting students with disabilities and facilitating their integration. In turn, Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Hassan Shaker Majdi, Director of the Student Activities Department, emphasized the importance of cooperation between academic institutions and government entities in organizing such activities, given their role in promoting the inclusion of persons with disabilities in society. This participation comes within Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing efforts to empower persons with disabilities and enhance their role in society
